This clip is decent for what it is, but it could be better. Due to the clip design, it can be easily pulled off and removed when bumping into something, or if it gets snagged on a tree limb. I would buy this clip if you are not in a constant moving environment where you may have to go through brush or over fences. Other than that I would prefer the clamp on strap magnetic mount.

The clip is extremely well made and very sturdy. It is very tight and requires a lot of force to open up. With the rubber backing of the mount, it works as a semi-permanent mount. Fits up to a 2″ belt.

I like it comes with the bolts necessary for permanent assembly, the clip is really well made, super strong. The only issue, and is not a small one, it that the clip is so rigid, I can put it by normally sliding from the top, Im force to out it on as I put my belt on my waist, I can’t open it at all.

I use this on my fire helmet. I was in a structure fire the other night pulling ceiling when a large piece of drywall hit me in the head. The light stayed in place thanks to the strong magnet.

The clip is very strong and stiff. It takes alot of effort to put it on and take it off. I wouldn’t be scared of it coming off. However, the light can be bumped off of course unless you screw in the light to the clip.

I’m curently using this accessory with my bulletproof vest since the Epaulet accessory is too small to fit in my shirt. The magnet is powerfull enough to go throug my winter coat and hold my device! Really love to have a hands free light on me!

The good: the clip is super strong, and once melted nothing is going to fall off. But that’s also the bad, in that it’s nearly impossible to get the clip to slide over cloth. So mounting and dismounting the clip is extremely difficult.
