Personally I am a huge fan of this product. No matter the detail I work, I know I am better protected with the guardian angel device. This device is perfect for traffic stops, traffic control, or even field interviews. 100% would recommend to all Law enforcement officials, or even EMS!

I am retired after 32 years on the job and now my son is a Police officer in N.C. I bought the Guardian Angel for him as some of the most dangerous situations are traffic related and you cannot be too visible when dealing with trouble on the roadway.
The hi visibility LEDs are awesome and can be seen from a long way off. The one touch operation makes makes the Guardian Angel easy to use, meaning he will be more likely to use it. I also like the forward facing white light with red option for the officer to check documents or for reports, leaving his/her hands free, while preserving night vision. I purchased the model with optional IR capability as being visible from night vision equipment both on the ground and from aircraft could be a huge asset.
I wish devices such as Guardian Angel were available when I was working but I am even more grateful that I can provide one to my son. It may just be the edge he needs someday!

Ok so if you are on here looking at this thing, odds are somebody you work with showed up with one and you gave them a fair amount of abuse…until you saw it in action. Its small, bright and works as intended. If you do a lot of night roadway work (often in inclement weather) its a great tool to have. Gives you instant visibility from motorists and lets co workers. Know where you are on scene. White lights on front work great for summons writing in dark and illuminating immediate walking areas without the blue and reds on. Will you feel goofy at first? Absolutely. Will you be the next locker room buff talk? Most definitely..for a short time. But after 15 years of LE work i honestly could GAF. Its a good tool, and just like anything with our job, good tools can be the difference of going home. The different mounts work pretty well, they come with screws to permanently secure the unit to most of the mounts, but believe me, they aren’t necessary, the Magnets are strong.

I love the device already. My coworker has a 1st generation and he’s amazed how bright and compact the current generation is. Our 3rd shift K9 is excited to demo it the next time we have a night track with Drone support. I initially bought it for safety lighting on crashes. The white work light has already come in handy for handsfree use. Additionally, a secondary function, is as a great work light for late night outdoor grilling in your off time (Daylight Savings problems).

Every Officer should have one of these units. It is a great idea and highly visible and useful. It can be used as a hands free lighting device to see IDs or as an area light for hands free searches. It is also very visible for traffic safety or when officers are trying to locate you in crowds or during a foot chase. The magnet mounts are strong, but I would also recommend the tether to keep the device attached if it gets knocked off. Very well built and durable! Highly recommended.

I love the Guardian Angel! I absolutely believe every LEO in America should have one. If it were up to me, they would. Not only is it amazing for traffic crashes, traffic stops, and the like. But it can be used for building searches, tracking with a K9, and being watched from the air by our helicopters. I can’t say enough fantastic things about this little tool. Thank you for making it! Thank you for helping keep me and thousands (hopefully millions soon) safe.

I purchased this for my father. He works special ops in the military. I also bought him the arm band. When he is walking around the flight line at night he has all the light he needs. He is also able to use this device IR strobe do people with NVG’s can see him. Get one of these for yourself or someone you love!

Its essential while in the field. I work on the highway so for the huge tractor trailers that go zooming by when I’m on a traffic stop. It really protects me with visibility

I can not say how awesome the guardian angel devices is, I bought it a few weeks ago knowing I would have special extra duty jobs working traffic control. On coming traffic can see me from a great distance and my co-workers are amazed on how great this device works. They can also see me from afar and my exact location at all times. A plus for guardian angel devices!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son who is a police officer and works nights. He doesn’t have it yet but I checked it out. I’m impressed by how compact and well built it seems to be. It’s very bright and I thought it might be distracting to the wearer but that’s not the case. I also received it in just a couple of days. I hope he likes it and uses it.

I am a Truck Driver at work and also a firefighter, this light is a perfect fit in both aspects of both. The light emitted off is so powerful. I deliver chemicals and offload next to highways and dirt roads I wear it each time I offload at night for my safety as well when on a call with the fire department. It’s worth the money, and is as tough as they say. Great job!

I saw this on a fellow officer recently and HAD to have one. I bought it as a promotion gift to a newly promoted Sergeant who is going to be on nights for the next two years. I saw this device in action ON THE STREET during patrol work and it is cool. The lights are super bright; the flash pattern options are great; the infrared light allows for SWAT and our local helicopters so see it. With a reflective traffic vest on AND this light on your shoulder, you are a Christmas Tree in the road and I mean LIT UP! This device will no doubt save a life. The rechargeable feature is great because you don’t have to carry batteries and replace them often. We are in discussions to see if this is an item we want to purchase for our night shift folks, that is how cool it really is in my opinion. The buttons are easy to work and the clip for the lapel is great. I have another officer who has been rocking this sweet device for some time now and he is nothing but complementary. After talking to him and seeing the device work in real time on the streets, I also recommend you pick up one of these Guardian Angels to help be seen at night. We lost an officer a years ago who was setting up cones on the highway because of an accident and was struck my a car. I look at this device and have to wonder: could this device have changed that outcome? I don’t know for sure, but I can honestly tell you this thing could safe your life out on a dark road, so I have plans to purchase more of these as gifts and look forward to seeing my new night shift folks rocking an Guardian Angel on their uniforms. This thing is super bright. The magnetic mount fits into my outer shell for my vest. This allows it to sit at the perfect angle and allows me to make use of the red and white front lights. The buttons are large enough to find quickly without issue. The battery life is also excellent.

This is one of my most essential pieces of police gear that I wear on a daily basis. The front facing lights in both red and white are amazing for reading driver’s licenses and assisting on vehicle searches. the rear-facing flashing red and blue lights have helped keep me safe when out of my patrol vehicle whether directing traffic or handling a crash scene. This is a must-have piece of equipment for all departments we’ll definitely buy again!
