I got this is do a magnetic attachment to a bump helmet for some illumination things I’m toying with. It actually works really well. I used a stripped down Princeton Tech MPLS accessory mount, but there was no natural magnet or place to get one to stay on it. This alleviate my issue. It does stick out more than I’d like, but to reiterate, I got this for some Dr. Frankenstein experiment and it worked out. I have a micro light from GA on the helmet as well that attaches to the side rail now if desired so this accessory went above and beyond my expectations.

Mount fits perfectly on the rails of my tactical helmet. As a SWAT team member I use the helmet mount to hold my guardian angel device on the side of my helmet where I can easily access it whenever I need light.
