This magnet is strong as I was looking at how I am going to mount this onto my fire helmet the magnet caught a piece of skin and yep it works.

The hard hat mount is a combination of a magnet that sticks to the inside of your hard hat and a rubber sticker that adheres to the guardian angel so it won’t rotate. Once the pieces are installed, it takes one second to place the guardian angel to your hard hat or remove it. The first time I placed my Guardian Angel on my hard hat I could detect that the balance was different but after a couple of minutes that sensation goes away and no issue with wearing it long term. Excellent accessory for my Guardian Angel device!

While watching a video on this site I saw home mention the hard hat mount was useful to use in load bearing vest that has limited MOLLE for attachments.. I put the magnet inside the vest on my shoulder and the magnet holds the light firmly in spot. So far it works great, will have to see how it handles its first fight though. Over all very impressed with both the light and this mount!!

I bought this mount for my fiancee who is a firefighter. The set up is super quick and will hold. It held the light in place during training and kept it where she placed it. Idk know how it will handle fires yet but so far it is doing great. 10/10 would buy again

On my wild land helmet during a decent wild fire it worked great for a very long night being hands free. Being seen by a helicopter with this on my wild land helmet it helped them locate us to help extract an injured hiker for a SAR mission.

I like the mount. I can use it on my hard hat and my full brim hat. The dark early mornings give the opportunity to show off the Guardian Angel light. It is very useful.

I got this magnet and used it on a bike helmet. I cut out some foam on the inside and stuck this on the inside of the plastic shell. Now I have a super sleek and undetectable attachment point. The guardian angel just sticks right to the top. The magnet is so strong I’m not worried about it coming off. I like that when I am not using the guardian angel this mount is invisible and when I need it the guardian angel just sticks to the helmet like magic

Highly recommend this product for fire helmet applications. Don’t even notice it being on the helmet until the light comes on then everyone notices.

Our brigade issued Kevlar reinforced helmets are a lot thicker than a plastic hard hat, and with less smoothed surface area (due to ribbed reinforcements). This setup works extremely well, hold a full size guardian angel in place, even on a non flat mounting surface.

Great accessory to go with your guardian angel device. Holds very secure with a strong magnet. Definitely a worthwhile addition to your guardian angel if you wear a hard hat. Just be aware that the device when attached to a hard hat creates a noticeable weight, and will take a bit of getting used to, particularly when mounted on the side.

Very Good Holding On Helmet, will not drop off easily. Used with micro angel device i can work with both my hand in dark situation. I am so satified i bought my self another pair to enhanvce the work light area

I really like the Guardian. I’m a Motorcycle Officer and I put it on my helmet. I had to take the magnet apart and flip it over in the hard hat mount. You may want to add that info to your instruction and add a small glue pack to reglue the magnet covers.(The magnet has to be put on the outside of the helmet.
